I found this TED talk a bit insane. Instead of using Agile principles for managing your family, perhaps the speaker should have asked people to start by asking themselves what they can change in their life so that they can, for example, have dinner with their children every evening.


Yes, the analogy between software development to family is definitely a stretch. Checklists idea is something I really doubt whether it will work in any house!. Adding an additional task on the already packed schedule is going to be very difficult. In any case, it seems to have worked with the speaker's kids.
Also,I felt the talk should have been not more than 3 minutes.
